FIND GAS LEAKS AT HOME:
Find the location of any natural gas, propane, LP, or fuel leak by running the sensor probe along a gas pipe, fuel line, or near any gas odor. Determine fuel leaks from your lawnmower or car. A gas leak is detected when the alarm sounds and the LEDs light up. Don't pay a technician's diagnostic fee when you can find a gas leak anytime with this natural gas and propane detector.

-To detect leaks while minimizing false alarms, turn the sensitivity dial up until the device begins to alarm away from any gas leaks. Turn the sensitivity dial down slightly until the alarm stops, but the first LED stays on. Now any small increase in the gas level (due to a leak) will cause the alarm to sound.
-If the alarm sounds before a leak is found, the sensitivity should be decreased to avoid false alarms.
-Allow the device to warm up the sensor for 10 seconds until the yellow "Warm Up" light turns off.
