The Model D2 for refrigerant gases can be used to: detect leaks in storage / recovery systems and vessels. It will respond to halogenated (chlorine and fluorine) refrigerants. This includes: (CFCs: for example, R12, R11, R500, R503, etc; HCFC: for example, R22, R123, R124, R502, etc; HFC: R134a for example, R404a, R125, etc, blends such as AZ -50, HP62, MP39, etc.) 

 -Detects ethylene oxide gas leaks in the sterilization of hospital equipment 
 -Detects most gases containing chlorine, fluorine and bromine (halogen gases). 
 -Detects halogen gases in fire extinguishing.
